Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee is a standing committee of DMAA: The Care Continuum Alliance and the chair is a member of the DMAA: The Care Continuum Alliance Executive Committee. The Committee is responsible for the development of position statements on emerging public policy issues. The Committee meets monthly to monitor the health care policy arena and provides members with access to valuable information and research on key federal legislative and regulatory issues.

Medicare Subcommittee

The Medicare Subcommittee is principally focused on developing DMAA: The Care Continuum Alliance's policy statements on Medicare, Medicare Advantage and related programs, demonstrations and pilots.

Health Information Technology (HIT) Committee

The HIT Committee is principally focused on ensuring that chronic care coordination and prevention are core priorities in the development and promotion of health information technology. The committee advances the notion that HIT is a tool that, when combined with population health management programs, can improve health care quality and reduce health care costs.
