Message From Our Leadership

opulation health improvement is aimed at ensuring higher levels of quality and satisfaction with health care delivery and improved health for the constituents we serve. Measuring and improving all aspects of quality is an integral element of the model's success. DMAA supports a population health improvement model that supports a fully-connected health care system to provide all members of the health care team essential tools to ensure proactive, coordinated, quality health care.

In support of DMAA's focus on quality health care, we introduce this DMAA Quality Website, dedicated to highlighting quality efforts in health care reform, health promotion and health care delivery. The time has never been more important and the alignment has never been so clear as the agenda for health care reform unfolds. Three key tenets of all proposals are greater access and improved quality, at an affordable cost. Although no small task, DMAA seeks to emphasize the importance of quality improvement efforts and to promote widespread access to resources for members, the larger population health improvement community and all stakeholders interested in gaining a better understanding of these efforts. As an industry, we are making a substantial contribution to this quality charge. We invite you to join DMAA in this effort toward taking improved health care quality to a new level.
